Born Sick is 5-piece hardcore punk band residing in Vancouver, WA made up of transplants from all over the west coast. They came together through their mutual admiration for playing fast as f*ck and an all-to-familiar backstory of the junkie scumbag lifestyle gone sober. Now with their heads on straight (ish) and having joined the working class they pound the highways looking for places to unleash their unique brand of musical aggression. While the global community pleads for peace and harmony Born Sick force feeds you a loud and hard-hitting sonic assault while earning disapproval from moms and hipsters everywhere.
This band might excite fans of Raw Power, The Virus, Poison Idea, Broken Bones, A Global Threat and anything else that inspires you to go apesh*t and rob a bank!

Born Sick believe that with their music and social actions can make a true difference. The band furthered these actions by creating actionable goals. The first was getting the music recorded and actually heard, they self released "...other side of the tracks" and started getting real recognition for their message in the north west of the United States. Shortly after they submitted music and were played on the "Die Laughing Records Radio Podcast" which plays not only bands on the label, but also bands from around the globe. The next step was the band surprised everyone creating a theme song for the label's podcast. This showed a true drive and consistency to create and get goals accomplished even if the label only knew at the time they had a great record to listen to and great people to talk to. Soon after the theme came out on the podcast as a weekly thing, Born Sick negotiated a deal with Die Laughing Records to put out future recordings on the Alameda, CA based punk label fronted and owned by the legendary guitarist (Screaming Bloody Marys, Cell Block 5, Dick And Jane & The Unfortunate Bastard) Dave Dalton and co-owned and co-operated by Rob Trisler who had been owner of Orange Peal Records and Zero Magazine in the 1990's and 2000's. Stay tuned for upcoming new music from the band who is focused and will have new music in 2019 on Die Laughing Records.
