Chicanery Chick originally came about in 2017 as a production and promotion platform. That changed in the summer of 2020, and Chicanery Chick became an off-shoot power pop, garage, alternative subsidiary of Die Laughing Records. Our mission is to provide a platform for female driven bands to be heard and supported in a competitive and evolving industry.

We have a duel system in place to support unsigned artists and to spotlight some of the artists signed to the Die Laughing / Golden Robot Records roster.
