Official band page for Singer/Songwriter Musician, Jackie Strano. LA/Oakland CA based Alt-Folk/rolk Americana Singer/Songwriter veteran of the Bay Area music scene now based in LA part-time. Jackie (Jack) Strano founded and fronted The Hail Marys, The Passengers, and LadyKillers as well as various projects throughout their solo career.
Strano’s songs have been featured on soundtracks including Bound by The Wachowski Sisters and Radical Harmonies, an Official Sundance Selection biopic as well as other film festival favorites including Override by Director Lisa Ginsburg. They have played on stages from CBGB’s to The Fillmore and many a venue in between.
Strano’s songs are full of gut punching heart soaking soul, gothic Americana, with fist clenching folk noir punk rock with an original gritty sonorous sound.
Signed to Die Laughing Records in April 2020 and plans to record summer 2020 for early 2021 release.
