ALTERNATIVE PUNK BAND THE HELLFLOWERS SIGN WITH DIE LAUGHING RECORDS.

The Band Is Set to Release Their Next Album Spring 2019 Followed By A Summer Tour.

LOS ANGELES CA: "We are beyond excited!" states bassist Matt Eskew about the band's decision to team up with the Northern California punk label. "Die Laughing's dedication and determination to promoting their artists is exceptional, we are very much looking forward to what the future holds."

The label, which is run by long time Screaming Bloody Mary's guitarist and punk rock icon Dave Dalton and co-partnered with former Orange Peal Records CEO Rob Trisler have been dedicated to the punk rock scene in Northern California and has grown with distribution though Sony/ The Orchard. In addition, the band is happy to be affiliated with the label that shows its passion behind the music they work with. "Solid and stand up gents who do it for the love of music. Both Rob and Dave each bring something special to the table and you seriously couldn't ask to work with two nicer guys."

"We are super excited at Die Laughing Records to add The Hellflowers to our ever growing family of killer artists" states Dave Dalton on behalf of the Die Laughing Records label. "The Hellflowers are a labels dream."

Hailed by the LA TImes as "High energy Rock n Roll" the band consists of lead singer/ guitarist Christina Hellflower, Matt Eskew on bass, Cat (State Line Empire) on lead guitar/ backing vocals and Stevyn Grey (Christian Death/ 45 Grave) on drums. The band's critically acclaimed debut 2016 E.P. release "Come On Let's Dance!" was produced by Dave Klein (Agent Orange) and mastered by Jamison Weddle (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nils Lofgren) with album artwork illustration by famed poster artist Casey Castille. The band put out two promotional videos for the singles "Come On Let's Dance!" and "Running Through The Fog" both produced by Eskew. The title track was later featured in the 2017 season finale of "Vanderpump Rules." The band's follow up E.P. "Vacation" was released in 2017 along with their third video, a cover of Elastica's "Stutter." The Hellflowers have have shared the stage with such artists as Agent Orange, The Dickies, The Muffs, Michael Des Barres and The Mistakes, Missing Persons, and Gene Loves Gezebel.

Another reason for the signing to the label had to do with the dedication the label has to each and every artist on the Die Laughing Records roster. "We love the way Die Laughing gives equal exposure to all of their artists, they don't play favorites" states Eskew. "We are honored to be a part of the Die Laughing family."

The band is also held in high regard by the label as well. "They are the real deal, and one to watch closely" Dalton further states.
